A .3125" diameter chucking reamer would give a much more concentric and round removal of the crimp ring, and won't cost much at all. You can see the edge of it but visual is just one method of detection (checking the primer pocket with a reamer is a good idea...if it doesn't go in easily, it's crimped). There's more than one way to factory crimp primers.

You get a primer pocket reamer and remove the crimp by reaming away a small amount of the primer pocket. I prefer swagging as it doesn't remove metal and is neater.
