It took a minute to install them. If you get the Delrin bushings, the cross shaft nuts just get turned in to snug. WebMar 13, 2024 · Here's how I would do it: 1. Taller ball joints 2. Hardness wise, you will be going from the hardness of a 'tire' or 'hard eraser' to the hardness of a plastic housing of a ball point pen, just for comparison. No doubt original pins long gone replaced with whatever was on hand. Keep the well greased and they`ll last just about forever too. That said they won`t really do anything to help high speed stability. That`s more of an alignment issue.
