WebElizabethan Authors is the creation of Ryan Bronson, Emily Watts and Sandra Larson. Beginning as a simple idea in 2009 – to place Barb’s transcripts on the Internet – the project snowballed in size to its current grandiose format, and was launched in September 2012. WebElizabeth herself was a product of Renaissance humanism trained by Roger Ascham, and wrote occasional poems such as On Monsieur’s Departure at critical moments of her life. Philosophers and intellectuals included Thomas More and Francis Bacon.
