Hirta population

Webbpopulation has been restricted to the small island of Soay (99ha), but in 1932, 107 sheep were introduced to the much larger island of Hirta (638ha). The Hirta population now comprises 700^2000 animals, and our study population in the Village Bay area includes about one-third of the total Hirta population.
