Structure formation by dynamic self-assembly
WebSelf-assembly is one of the most important areas of nanoscience and nanotechnology. It represents a prototype approach to designing nanostructures at the molecular and atomic level. We have briefly reviewed the self-assembly of organic molecules on both inert surfaces and reactive surfaces. WebJan 4, 2024 · Dynamic-responsive self-assembly is the process of ordered supramolecular structure formation or reversible decomposition from building blocks. This process is driven by non-covalent interactions based on complex stimulus-responsive systems comprising different components within a microenvironment.

WebMay 1, 2013 · In contrast, approaches to guide self-assembly by tailoring the dynamics of structure formation have received less attention. Finally, this review discusses opportunities and challenges of recently developed computational strategies to predict the dynamics of self-assembly of polymeric materials on the basis of the underlying free-energy landscape. WebJul 13, 2024 · Abstract. Although dynamic self-assembly, DySA, is a relatively new area of research, the past decade has brought numerous demonstrations of how various types of components – on scales from (macro)molecular to macroscopic – can be arranged into ordered structures thriving in non-equilibrium, steady states.
